Who is responsible for taking care of sidewalks?
Sidewalks are the responsibility of the property owner.
How can I use City-owned property for an event?
Write a letter addressed to City Council asking for their permission, stating the purpose, date, time, etc. A certificate of insurance will be required to cover the event. City Council will have to formally approve the request at a council meeting.
When are City Council meetings held?
Typically the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 4:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, City Hall. All meetings are open to the public. Changes in schedule are advertised in The Derrick newspaper. Learn More About City Council
