Hasson Park is 48 acres of open and forested land containing many activities for the public. Hiking trails wind through the park amid a collection of rare rhododendron which is abundant with blooming color in the spring. A playground is located centrally and pavilions are available for picnics and parties. Immediately adjacent to Hasson Park is the public swimming pool, Hockey rink, and ball fields. For information on renting pavilions in the park, contact City Hall at 814-678-3009.
There are four pavilion rental options: Large Pavilion, 1/2 Large Pavilion, Horseshoe Pavilion, and Creekside Pavilion.
The newest addition to the park complex is a regulation disc golf course. The 18-hole course will challenge you uphill and down, across water hazards and natural obstacles. Scorecards and course maps are available near the large pavilion. Leagues have formed and tournaments are held throughout the year. More information can be found at River Valley Disc Society.
