Oil City Marina Toilet Room Renovation
Bids will be received by the City of Oil City at the City Manager's Office located at 21 Seneca Street, Oil City, PA 16301, until 10:00 A.M., prevailing time on Friday, January 24, 2025. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud immediately thereafter.
The work shall be completed in accordance with the Drawings prepared by StruXures LLC, 3545 State Route 257, Seneca, PA 16346. The Drawings will be available for review at the office of the Oil City Community Development and the office of the Architect. Single copies of the Project Manual and Drawings may be obtained from the Architect for a non-refundable fee of Forty Dollars ($40.00). A $10.00 mailing fee for postage and handling will be required for Contract Documents that are mailed. PDF copies of the plans and specifications for the project can be emailed at no cost by contacting the Architect's office at 814-676-1432.
Each bidder must deposit with his bid, Security in the amount of 10% of the bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds for 100% of the contract and Maintenance Bond for 10% of the contract sum. Attention to bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to the conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. No bidder is permitted to request bid documents after the date set for Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting.
A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at the site of the Marina Toilet Rooms located at 10 Wyllis Street, Oil City, PA. Bids shall be addressed to the City of Oil City, 21 Seneca Street, Oil City, PA 16301. The bid envelope must be SEALED and clearly marked "BID DOCUMENTS FOR RENOVATIONS TO THE MARINA TOILET ROOMS – DO NOT OPEN UNTIL 10:00 A.M. ON JANUARY 24, 2025."
The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities in the bids.
